So I finally took the time this past weekend to clean out my old bedroom in my parents house.
I was looking through all my old yearbooks, including my 9th grade yearbook. I guess in Jr. high the way to measure the depth of your friendships was who wrote the longest message in your yearbook... Well obviously Sara Evans won this contest in my yearbook by taking up three whole pages!! (I had no other friends so it didn't really matter)
The last page of her love letter to me was just a list of all of our inside jokes and memories from that year. At the bottom of the page Sara wrote; Dallin + Megan = Love!
At the risk of sounding cheesy or cliche... We were obviously meant to be.
Other Interesting Finds...
this happened^^
(Dallin thought I was attractive, even then)
Lots of notes, one of which Sara was trying to convince me to write Dallin on his mission.
I found my "Temple Time Capsule" I made in Young Womens. I was supposed to open it when I got engaged.. whoops! It was still so fun to read all the funny notes I left to myself, my list of qualities I wanted in a husband, pictures of wedding dresses and engagement rings (which by the way none of which look like the ones I actually chose) Shout out to my awesome young women leaders for that fun activity!
All of my dance pictures from high school... including this lovely photo
I am also grateful for the Culvers employee who gave me a senior discount because of my bum foot!! Yay for having old lady feet. haha
